Teaching the English language has received considerable interest as it's the language of our era. The success of EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teachers and the increasing success of their students in the classroom are worthy of study.
This study employed a qualitative design, which involved conducting interviews and classroom observations. By applying the communicative approach, the research aimed to help teachers plan for effective explanations and overcome collaborative challenges in the EFL classroom. The participants included eight Libyan EFL instructors from language centers in Gharyan.
The findings of this research indicate that reflective teaching and thinking are instrumental tools that enable teachers to acquire the necessary skills for creative problem-solving when dealing with various assumptions and complexities. Moreover, the teaching process can be enhanced through collaborative learning, where engaging groups work together.
