1. Definition of Conflict of Interest

A conflict of interest refers to any financial, personal, professional, academic, or institutional relationship that could reasonably influence, or be perceived to influence, the objectivity and impartiality of research, peer review, or editorial decisions.

The existence of a conflict of interest does not necessarily indicate misconduct; however, it must be disclosed and managed transparently to maintain the integrity of the publication process. journal.sinergi.or.id
