The Crisis of Theorization in the Field of Political Science: An Approach to the Problem of Epistemological Foundations
Keywords:
Crisis of Theorization, Political Science, Cognitive modelsAbstract
This study addressed a highly important topic that has occupied the minds of thinkers and researchers in the field of political science, embodied in the crisis of theorizing in political science from an epistemological perspective, and from a critical analytical reading of the cognitive frameworks that regulate the formulation and construction of political knowledge. It was based on the premise that the crisis of theorizing in political science is not related to the diversity of approaches and methods or the lack of coherence among them, but rather stems from a deep and wide-ranging flaw in the cognitive system. Among the most prominent of these differences are the low degree of suitability of models and the widening gap between the analytical perspective and political movements, thought, and reality.
