تُعد قشور الموز (Musa sp.) من المخلفات الزراعية ومخلفات تصنيع الأغذية المتوافرة بكثرة، وتحتوي على مكونات كيميائية نباتية ذات تطبيقات محتملة كمضادات للأكسدة وفي إنتاج منتجات ذات قيمة مضافة. هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم تأثير مذيب الاستخلاص في مردود المستخلص الخام، وإجراء توصيف أولي للخصائص الكيميائية النباتية والنشاط المضاد للأكسدة لقشور الموز المجففة. استُخلص مسحوق القشور باستخدام إيثانول مائي بتركيز 50%، والماء، والميثانول، والإيثانول، والأسيتون، وثنائي إيثيل الإيثر، والهكسان. وأُجري الفحص النوعي للمركبات الكيميائية النباتية، واختبار فولين–سيوكالتيو، واختبار كلوريد الألومنيوم اللوني، وتحليل تثبيط الجذور الحرة باستخدام DPPH، وكروماتوغرافيا الطبقة الرقيقة. حقق الإيثانول المائي بتركيز 50% أعلى مردود للمستخلص الخام (43.32%)، تلاه الماء (43.00%)، ثم الميثانول (37.08%)، والإيثانول (30.62%)، وثنائي إيثيل الإيثر (6.30%)، والأسيتون (6.08%)، والهكسان (5.13%). وأظهر الفحص الكيميائي النباتي وجود الكربوهيدرات، والسكريات والمكوّنات المختزِلة، والتانينات، والفلافونويدات، والمركبات الفينولية، والزيوت الثابتة والدهون. ومن بين المستخلصات القطبية التي جرى تقييمها، أعطى الإيثانول المائي بتركيز 50% أعلى استجابة باستمرار في اختبار كلوريد الألومنيوم. كما أظهر تحليل DPPH للمستخلص الإيثانولي نشاطًا في إزالة الجذور الحرة يعتمد على التركيز، حيث بلغت نسبة التثبيط 85.53% عند أعلى تركيز تم اختباره. وتوضح هذه النتائج أن تركيب المذيب يؤثر في استخلاص مكونات قشور الموز، كما تدعم إجراء دراسات كمية وكروماتوغرافية إضافية لتقييم قشور الموز بوصفها منتجًا نباتيًا ثانويًا ذا قيمة محتملة
