Analysis of the Characteristics of Some Physiographic Factors Affecting the Nature of Spectral Reflection of Surfaces and Their Impact on the Quality of Aerial Images

The phenomenon of spectral reflection is influenced by several factors that make aerial images susceptible to distortion and interference, resulting in reduced accuracy levels in data analysis. Considering that the spectral reflection of surfaces is a fundamental element in the analysis of aerial images—since each surface has unique reflective properties—this research aims to study some common factors (physical and geographical) affecting the nature of spectral reflection of different surfaces. These factors include surface roughness, dust, temperature, and humidity, as well as their impact on the nature of spectral reflection and the quality of aerial images.
